Mikhail Kazinik
Antidepressants in Music and Literature

Featuring: Rustem Galich, Dainis Medjaniks, and Daniil Mickevich

The 16th festival "Kazinik Days in Riga" begins, perhaps, with one of the most interesting concerts of the last 16 years. Three artists, three individuals beloved in many countries around the world, will meet on one stage. And this will create a synergy effect. The outstanding artist, master of the artistic word, Rustem Galich, has prepared a surprise. We don't want to go into details, but it will be very interesting. Because we will not only delight in the wonders of words, but also try to understand the deep meanings hidden within a text that, at first glance, seems simple and uncomplicated. Our wonderful violinist Dainis Medjaniks, by the way the first Grand Prix laureate of the annual "Rising Stars" competition, will perform the brightest, most optimistic music that exists in the European tradition. Together with Mikhail Kazinik, they will perform one of Vivaldi's most radiant concertos for two violins.

The entire concert will shine with light, humor, and joy, because the concert's title is "Antidepressants in Music and Literature."

So, as mentioned, Mikhail Kazinik will be assisted by a well-known actor from New York, Rustem Galich, who is well-known to the Latvian public. Excellent musicians who have earned the appreciation of Riga's audiences with their performances – violinist Dainis Medjaniks from Germany and pianist Daniil Mickevich from Latvia.

At the concert, you will gain an additional tool on how to elevate your emotional tone, how to avoid falling into depression, or how to emerge from it.
