Rising Stars Competition GALA CONCERT

The concert will be hosted by Mikhail Kazinik.

The competition, held for the 16th time this year, attracted participants from various countries. Therefore, it is gratifying to realize that the next generation of musicians and vocalists eagerly come to our competition and present themselves before the demanding jury.

The first part will feature our laureates – bright, talented, in-demand performers, always enthusiastically received by the Gala Concert audience. We are confident that this year, too, they will not disappoint our expectations.

The second part will showcase our esteemed jury members. Instrumental and vocal solo performances will fill the second half.

Kazinik will introduce the beauty of the music, and your attention will be drawn to Haydn's Toy Symphony, which will conclude the concert – a very profound idea and an unusual performance. For this purpose, the festival orchestra has been invited, conducted by Arturs Gailis, and will feature our special guests: the legendary musician, already well-known to the Latvian public, Grigorijs Kovaļevskis.

And no less familiar, the leading actor of the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, Yakovs Rafalsons.

An actor who dreams of music, and a musician who dreams of an acting career...

It is in this status that they will appear on stage!
